I believe this problem should be noted for future reference.

I had an owner of a firm who kept trying to purchase HP branded ink for her printers, a lot of the time they would come in the mail and not be HP brand nor work at all.

I gave her a slight advice that a reputational source having good reputational reviews, if purchased from the ink may not be HP brand but will work as intended.

She purchased some online and it was cheaper than the brand name and everything seemed to work as intended since then.
